What We Charge for Personal Injury and Workers Comp Cases
There is no fee unless we win your case. Gendlin, Liverman & Rymer generally does not charge fees to clients in personal injury cases while cases are in progress. The standard professional contingency fee arrangement, one-third of the total settlement,* is payable only after our clients’ cases have been won and their settlement has been paid.
Unlike some personal injury law firms, Gendlin, Liverman & Rymer’s contingency fee remains fixed even when cases proceed to litigation.
Occasionally, clients with personal injury cases prefer to pay a straight hourly fee rather than a contingency fee; if you wish this fee arrangement may also be made. A complete fee schedule is available. Fees are calculated prior to deductions for client costs.
My husband had been in three accidents throughout the years and received great representation from GLR each time. I then unfortunately was involved in an accident and of course I hired them. They provided me with the same great service. Our family knows GLR is the one to turn to for our legal needs.

I was in a car accident and I needed assistance. I remembered the "just dial seven's" from tv and called them. I am so glad I did. They were knowledgable, thoughful, and considerate throughout while fighting for me the whole time. I definitely recommend them.

Understanding Contingency Fees
Contingency fees are a common payment structure in personal injury cases, enabling clients to pursue legal action without the burden of upfront costs. Under this arrangement, clients only pay their attorney if the case is successful, providing a sense of security and access to legal representation for those who may not afford traditional fees.
This fee structure typically involves the attorney receiving a percentage of the settlement or award, which is agreed upon before the case begins. In most cases, this percentage can range from 25% to 40%, depending on the complexity of the case and the negotiations between the client and attorney.
What to Expect During Your Free Case Evaluation
During your free case evaluation, you will meet with a legal expert who will assess the details of your situation and provide guidance on potential legal options. This initial consultation is an opportunity to discuss your case without any financial obligation, allowing you to understand your rights and the possible outcomes.
Clients are encouraged to bring relevant documents, such as medical records and accident reports, to facilitate a thorough discussion. The attorney will explain the legal process, answer any questions, and help you determine the best course of action based on the specifics of your case.
Common Misconceptions About No-Win, No-Fee Agreements
Many people have misconceptions about no-win, no-fee agreements, believing that they are entirely without risk. While these arrangements provide financial relief by eliminating upfront costs, clients should be aware that they may still be responsible for certain expenses, such as court fees or costs associated with expert witnesses.
Understanding the terms of your agreement is crucial. Clients should clarify with their attorney what costs may arise during the legal process and how these will be handled if the case is not successful. Transparency in these discussions can prevent misunderstandings and ensure a smoother experience.
Benefits of Hiring a Personal Injury Attorney
Hiring a personal injury attorney can significantly impact the outcome of your case. Attorneys bring expertise in navigating the legal system, negotiating with insurance companies, and advocating for your rights, which can lead to higher settlements compared to individuals representing themselves.
Additionally, an experienced attorney can help gather necessary evidence, build a strong case, and provide emotional support throughout the process. Their knowledge of personal injury law ensures that clients receive fair compensation for their injuries, medical expenses, and lost wages, ultimately making the legal journey less daunting.
